KEY TERMS & TIPS:
What is a Channel?
The place where tickets are sold, e.g. Online Channel, Box Office, Ticket Agent, etc.
The Channels function makes reporting easier, as you’ll know where sales are coming from, and will determine which data everyone has access to.
How do I create a Channel?
On the Channels page, where you can enter details including Name, Description and Status.

How do I provide my Channels access to my Events?
Once you've created your Channel, you can add to your Performances after creating your Event.
On the Performance page, you can set an On and Off Sale Schedule for your Channels.
What do I need to do before creating a Channel?
Sign up to a Line-Up account.
Set up your Organisation.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:
1. Select and then
2. Add Details:
a) Name
b) Description
c) Booking Time Limit - the time limit in seconds for a customer to complete their booking with this Channel
d) Tags - for internal use, these will appear in your Channel list
e) Status - Active or Disabled (i.e. is this channel able to access and sell tickets?)
3. your Channel
4. Edit or Delete Channel if you need to make changes by selecting on your Channel list. Here you can also see the API Details of the Channel. For more info about API integrations, see here
