What is an Email Template?
Design what your emails look like to your customers by creating templates.
These could be booking confirmation emails, pre/post show emails, etc.
You'll get given a Default Line-Up Confirmation Email you can select for your event when you sign up, but you can also create as many of your own as you'd like.
How can I set these up for my customers to receive?
You can attach Email Templates to Delivery Methods and set when you'd like them to be sent to customers. For more info on Delivery Methods, go here.
How do I create an Email Template?
From the Tools page, where you can select the Email Template option before entering the details and adding your template text.

What are Merge Tags and how can I use them for my Template?
Transaction-specific data/code that you can insert into your HTML Email Templates.
This could be data such as event name, customer name, ticket specifics, etc.
There are different kinds of Tags depending on the data that you want to include, and you choose these from a list that we make available to you.

How do I attach an Email Template to my Delivery Method?
By adding them as an Email Sequence on the Delivery Method. See here for more info.
Can I specify this to a specific Event?
Yes, not only can you add event-specific Merge Tags to your template, but you can also activate Print Rules for the Delivery Method on the Event itself.
You just need to make sure that Print Rules are active only for the Delivery Method(s) you want to use on that Event.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:
1. Create a new Email Template
a) Go to the Tools page on the left hand side
b) Click Email Templates and then New Email Template
2. Add Details
a) Name - for internal use
b) From Email Address - the address you would like to send the template out from
c) Reply To Email Address - the address you would like any replies to the email to go to
d) Email Subject - describing the content of your email e.g. Your Tickets or About Your Upcoming Visit
3. Select Template Type
a) HTML:
- Enter your HTML template into the Template box on the left hand side
- Want to insert any Merge Tags? See here for the full list of Tags available
- Check how it appears to the customer in the Preview box on the right hand side
b) Text:
- Enter the text for your email in the Template box on the left hand side
- Check how it appears to the customer in the Preview box on the right hand side
4. Click Submit
5. Delete or Edit Template
a) If you need to make changes, click Manage on the Template list
b) Click Delete if you want to remove from Template list
c) Click Edit to make changes and then Submit to save
