How do I add my Discount to to my Event and Prices?
Via your Price Tables and selecting the Discount Mode toggle.
Here you can add your Discount and it will show the reduced prices when you select this mode.

What is a Coupon?
The codes that your customers will enter when applying a discount - this is different to the name of your Discount as a whole.
You can have as many Coupons as you like per discount, with different Start and End times if you wish.
This is helpful for reporting as you can see the figures for multiple codes for an offer/campaign.
You have the choice between uploading them, creating them manually or to have them automatically generated. 

What do I need to do before creating a Discount?
Sign up to a Line-Up account.
Set up your Organisation.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:

1. Select and then

2. Add Details:

• Name - the label that will show on discount reports (this is different to the code that customers enter. See more under Coupons below)
• Description - for internal use only, this will not be shown to ticket buyers
• Tags - for internal use, to help differentiate your discounts. These will appear in your Discounts list
• Discount rate - select between Percentage or Fixed discount (i.e. £10 off the price)
• Enter amount

3. Select option for Coupon creation:

a) Manually create codes

• Name of code - the code that they buyer enters when applying the discount
• Limit the number of times this coupon can be used? - enter number of times this coupon can be used (NOTE - this is the number of times this specific coupon can be used, not the discount as a whole)
• Start Date / Time (optional)
• End Date / Time (optional)
• Manually enter as many coupons as you would like

b) Generate codes for me

• How many codes do you need? (these will then be automatically generated)
• Limit the number of times this coupon can be used? - enter number of times each coupon can be used
• Start Date / Time (optional)
• End Date / Time (optional)

c) Upload codes

• Download our Coupon CSV Template
• Create codes on the CSV spreadsheet
• Drop file or browse to upload

5. Archive or Edit Discount if you need to make changes (e.g. to Name, Description, Tags or Discount Rate) by selecting on your Discount list

6. To view Coupons, either select the Coupons tab to see all Coupons, or to see only specific Coupon codes attached to a single Discount, select the Discount on the Discounts tab and then

You can then do the following:

• Select the Coupon to manage
• Edit Coupon - e.g. to Code, number of times it can be used, Start Date/Time & End Date/Time
• Archive coupon if you wish
• Download a CSV of linked coupons for a discount by selecting

7. Add Discount to Prices:

a) Go to and select your Event

b) Go to the Prices tab and select your Price Table

c) Select

d) Select

e) Select

f) From the pop-up, select your discount from dropdown

g) Select which Variant(s) it applies to

h) Select and you'll see the discounted price per Band

i) Select and check details are correct

j) Happy? Select to update Prices with your Discount
