KEY TERMS & TIPS:
How does a Ticket Agent use Line-Up to process customer payments?
You can provide a Ticket Agent with direct access to Line-Up by granting them a User Permission.
There are different options for User Permissions; if you just want them to be able to put orders through, then you can provide them with Box Office or Box Office - Admin roles. See here for the different options.
What else do I need to give them access to?
Once you've created a Channel for the Agent, you'll need to allow them access to account-wide elements such as Payment and Delivery Methods.
You'll then need to add their Channel to the Event, performances and prices.
See our Step-by-Step guide below for full instructions.
What if an Agent wants to pay us directly via BACs transfer?
Then you'll need to set up a specific Payment and Delivery Method whereby you can invoice them for orders that you have paid in manually.
See here for instructions for this option.
Can an Agent sell through API?
Yes, the Agent will just need to have an existing integration with the Line-Up API.
See here for more information about API integration.
