What is a Purchase Channel?
A Channel-specific link for your online Purchase Flow.

You may want to create one for your mailing list, priority members or if you want to have a booking flow for a certain Payment Method.

Each channel will have its own unique URL which you can send to customers to make purchases through that Channel. You'll just need to create a Channel and Purchase Flow before setting one up.

How do I create a Purchase Channel?
Via the Purchase Flows page, where you can enter create a Key, select your Channel and set On and Off Sale dates.

What is a Channel?
The place where tickets are sold, e.g. Website, Box Office, Ticket Agent, etc.

Before setting up your Purchase Channel link, you want to add the Channel to specific prices or performances that will be available to the Channel via the link.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:

1. Create a New Purchase Channel:

a) Go to the Purchase Flows page

b) Select your Online Purchase Flow you'd like to create a Purchase Channel for. NOTE - you'll have needed to create your Online Purchase Flow prior to this step, see here for more info

c) On the Purchase Flow page, click the Purchase Channels tab and click New Purchase Channel

2. Add Details:

a) Key - the unique text that will appear in the URL for the Purchase Channel. You can use any letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens

b) Channel - select the Channel that can access this link, e.g. Mailing List

c) On Sale/Off Sale Dates - select either Always/Never or specific date and times

d) Click Submit

3. Edit or Archive Purchase Channel if you need to make changes on your Purchase Channel list

4. Want to unarchive a Purchase Channel?

a) Click the Filter bar

b) Click Archived? and select Yes from the dropdown

c) Click Done and you'll see all Archived Purchase Channels

d) Click the reverse arrow button to unarchive and it will return to your Purchase Channel list

5. Generate Purchase Link:

a) Click the Link Generator tab

b) Select the event you'd like to send customers to

c) Would you like to link to the calendar page or a specific performance? Optional - if you would, select from the below:

• Calendar - select the year and month from the dropdown
• Performance - select from the dropdown. If you select a performance, it will take the customer straight to the ticket page for that performance

d) Purchase Channel - select from dropdown

e) Discount - want to take the user straight to discounted prices? Select the Discount followed by the Coupon attached to the prices. You can add multiple Discounts if you wish

f) Copy the link we have generated for you and you can use this to send to your users

g) Click Reset to generate another link
