Scroll down for the Step-by-Step Guide on how to take performances off sale
KEY TERMS & TIPS:
How do I take a performance off sale?
There are three options:
- Remove Channels from the performance
- Remove capacity from the Price Profile attached to a performance (see below)
- Change Band capacities on the Performance page (see below)
See our Step-by-Step guide below for instructions on each step.
How do I take a performance off sale but keep it on the booking flow calendar?
By removing all capacities either from the Price Profile or on the individual Performance page (options 2 and 3 above). By doing either of these, the performance will appear on the calendar but as crossed out.
NOTE - if you remove capacities from the Price Profile, then this will remove capacities from all performances attached to that Price Profile. If you just want to remove capacities from a single performance, you will need to remove capacities on the individual Performance page (option 3).
If a performance has been unlinked from a Price Profile and you'd like to change capacities on multiple performances, you will also need to do option 3, as any changes to the original Price Profile will no longer pull through.
If you remove Channels from a performance then the performance day appears as blank on the calendar.
Can I do this for individual Bands/tickets as well?
Yes, by removing capacities from the individual Bands (see above). This will show Bands/tickets as 'Sold Out' (on a General Admission plan) or blanked out (on Reserved Seating).
What is a Price Profile?
A combination of Venue Plan and Price Table, where you can assign price Bands to seats if you have Reserved Seating, or capacities if you are General Admission.
You will need to create a Price Profile separately before adding/editing them on your Performances page.
More info can be found here.
