What are Print Rules?
Where you can activate a Delivery Method on an Event, by setting when you want your barcodes to be generated and scanned.
NOTE - you'll need to do this in order for the Delivery Method to show in the booking flow for the event. If no Print Rules are activated, customers will not receive barcodes or tickets.
How do I activate Print Rules for my Delivery Method?
On the Event Settings page and selecting your Delivery Method before choosing your Barcode settings.

Can I make Print Rules inactive for my Delivery Method?
Yes, by changing the Status of the Delivery Method on the Event Settings page.
NOTE - inactive Print Rules will still apply to transactions that used the Print Rule while they were active. A new Status on a Delivery Method will only apply to all future transactions.

How do I create a Delivery Method?
From the Tools page, where you can select the Delivery Method option and enter the details.
Here you can add an Email Sequence, attach the Email Templates you've created and choose the time you'd like them to be sent.

Can I set specific Delivery Methods for different Events?
Yes, you just need to make sure that Print Rules are active only for the Delivery Method(s) you want to use on that Event.

Do I need to activate Print Rules for Products as well?
Yes, if you'd like your customer to receive any emails or tickets for a Product in the basket, it must have Print Rules activated on the Product Settings page.
IMPORTANT NOTE - the Product must have the same Print Rules activated as the ticket items in a basket in order for the Delivery Method to appear. If products and tickets have different Delivery Methods, then none will appear to select in the booking flow.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:
1. Activate the Print Rules for your Delivery Method:
a) Go the Events page and select your Event
b) Click the Settings tab, and you'll get taken to the Delivery Methods page
c) Click the pencil icon on the Delivery Method you want to activate Print Rules for
2. Set Barcode Visibility:
a) When would you like the barcodes to be visible for tickets using this Delivery Method?
- Immediately - barcodes will be visible once the order is placed
- Scheduled - set date and time for the barcodes to be visible
b) Do you have a Ticket Template attached to your Delivery Method? Select from the drop-down (these will need to be created prior to this step. Go here for more info)
c) Click Save
3. Barcode Scanning:
a) How long before a performance can a barcode be scanned?
- Anytime
- Restricted - choose a unit of Minutes/Hours/Days
b) How long after a performance can a barcode be scanned?
- Anytime
- Restricted - choose a unit of Minutes/Hours/Days
c) Click Save

d) The Delivery Method will then show as Active in the Status column on the Settings page
2. Want to deactivate a Delivery Method?
a) Click on the pencil icon and then on the Print Rules page, click Deactivate
b) The Delivery Method will then show as Inactive in the Status column on the Settings page
c) To reactivate the Delivery Method, click on the pencil icon and then on the Print Rules page, click Activate
NOTE - inactive Barcode Rules will still apply to transactions that used the Print Rule while they were active. A new Status on a Delivery Method will only apply to all future transactions.
Changes to when the barcodes should be generated will apply to past transactions that used this Print Rule.
