Scroll down for the Step-by-Step Guide on how to create a 2 for 1 Discount
KEY TERMS & TIPS:
How do I create a 2 for 1 Discount?
By creating either a 100% or 50% Discount and setting a Basket Validation Rule on your Price Table that limits the applied Discount to 2 tickets in a basket.
This will mean that when the user applies the coupon code, it will make the basket amount 50% off the price of 2 Full Price tickets.
For more info, see our Step-by-Step Guide below.
How do Discounts work on Line-Up?
Discounts work as new discounted prices you can add to your Event and which are added to a basket as a separate price to your standard tickets.
You can create them as Discount codes first, with specific visibility and Coupons and then add them as a new price to the Price Table on your Event.
Then at checkout, the discounted price can be added to the basket with or without Coupon entry, depending on how you set up the Discount.
What is a Coupon?
The codes that your customers will enter when applying a discount - this is different to the name of your Discount as a whole.
How do I create a Discount?
From the Discounts page and entering the details, visibility and coupons.

NOTE - if you can't see the Variant options you're expecting, it's likely because the Price Table hasn't been saved with those Variants.
