What does the online check-in feature do?
It allows you to "check-in" items, i.e. redeem barcodes for a performance, without having to use a scanner to scan the tickets.
You can redeem anything that has a barcode, including tickets, reservations and products.
How do I use the online check-in?
By going to the Transaction Items list on the Performance page and clicking the redeem button next to an item.
Once you redeem the item, this icon will turn into a tick.
The item must have a barcode in order for it to be redeemed. If the item doesn't have a barcode, then an error icon will appear next to the item.

How can I generate the barcode for a ticket?
There are three options for generating barcodes:
1. You can select the Print Rules for your Delivery Methods on the Event Settings page when setting up your event, choosing to either generate the barcode immediately once the order has been placed or schedule a time for it to be generated.
2. Sold tickets through a third-party and they are not using the Line-Up barcode? You can import external barcodes for an event.
3. You can also generate barcodes on the individual order page once it has been completed. NOTE - you don't need to do this if Print Rules have been set up. As long as there are Print Rules on the event and that Delivery Method has been selected in the booking flow, then the barcodes will be automatically generated for that order.
How can I manage the orders that appear on the Transaction Items list?
By clicking Manage on an item, where you'll be taken to the Order page. Here you can refund/exchange the order, resend or download tickets and generate barcodes.

Is this the only way to view attendees for my performance?
No, you can also create a report that shows attendees for a performance, as well as whether their barcode has been redeemed. See here for more info.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:
1. Go to the Events page, select your Event and the Performance you're checking-in for
2. Click View Transactions on the Performance page
3. Redeem barcodes:
a) Click the redeem button under the Status column. Once clicked, the icon will become a tick
b) If the item doesn't have a barcode, then a red error icon will appear
c) To quickly generate a new barcode, click Manage on the item to go the Order page. Scroll down to the Items section and click Barcode
