What is a Payment Method?
The type of payment ticket buyers and Box Office staff can use to put through orders.
This is where you can connect to a 3rd party payment platform, e.g. Stripe or set up an external terminal, e.g. Adyen.
NOTE - for Adyen and Square Payment Methods please contact us for further assistance before setting them up.
If you'd like to do some test orders, you can just set up a Custom Payment Method.
How do I create a Payment Method?
On the Settings page, where you can add or edit your Organisation details.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:
1. Create a new Payment Method
a) Go to the Settings page
b) Click the Payment Methods tab and New Payment Method
2. Add Details
a) Type - choose from the following options:
- Stripe - connect a Stripe account. If you select this option you will be redirected to the Stripe website where you can follow the simple instructions to connect your account. NOTE - if you want to use Stripe at Box Office, you'll need to select the MOTO payments option, so that you can take card orders over the phone
- Adyen or Adyen Terminal- enter a name, API Key, Client Key, HMAC Key, Merchant Account Name, MOTO payments and Live Prefix. You can also choose to use testing mode if you wanted to run test payments
- Square - enter a name, Access Token, Application ID, Location ID and Signature Key
NOTE - for Adyen and Square payment methods please contact us for further assistance before setting them up.
- Custom - enter custom payment method name. NOTE - if you want to do some test orders, this is the only Payment Method you need for now
- Voucher - enter a voucher name, for internal use only
- Solt - for SOLT Token payments. See here for more info
b) Channels - which channels does this payment method apply to?
c) Click Submit to save payment method
