What is a Standalone Product?
A non-ticket item which you can sell by itself.
This can be gift vouchers, merchandise, or event-specific products such as programmes/playtexts.
How do I create a Standalone Product?
On the Products page and by following all the steps to create a normal Product, but making sure that you select the Standalone box.

How do I sell a Standalone Product?
On the Box-Office page on Line-Up and by choosing the Products tab.
You can also sell them on your Customer-Facing Booking Flow - see steps below for how.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:
1. Create a Product
a) Select Products on the left hand side and then New Product
b) Enter details:
- Name
- Description
- Type - select from Hospitality, Physical, Digital, Service, Voucher
- Image - jpg or .png image (no larger than 1MB)
- Inventory - Set a stock level of the product or select Unlimited inventory
- Available for Standalone Purchase? - tick box if you'd like to sell the Product as a Standalone item. They can also be sold as part of the ticket buying process
- Tags - for internal use, these will appear in your product list
- External ID - for internal use, a unique identifier for the product
- Voucher Settings - this will only appear if you have a Voucher product. If you do, enter the Voucher Name and Days Valid For. For more info about Vouchers, go here
- Submit your product
c) Create a Price Table. For full instructions, go here
d) Manage Visibility by adding Channels and Visibility Rules. For full instructions, go here
e) Choose Print Rules for your Delivery Methods. For full instructions, go here
2. Sell Product at Box Office
NOTE - you'll need to make sure the Box Office channel has access on the Visibility page of the Product. See step 1d above
a) Go to the Box Office page and select which Channel and Purchase Flow you'd like to sell product through
b) Click the Products tab
c) Add your product(s) to the basket and go through the Box Office booking flow to put through your order
NOTE - if you can't see your Product or the price has not appeared, this might be because you haven't granted the correct Channel access or it has been unlinked to that performance)
3. Sell Product in Customer-Facing Booking Flow
NOTE - you'll need to make sure your Website/Online Channel has access on the Visibility page of the Product. See step 1d above
a) In order to add Standalone Products to your booking flow, you just need to add /products to your Line-Up tickets subdomain URL, e.g. https://tickets.mytheatre.com/products
This will create a Products page based on the generic theme of your booking flow:
b) Want to create an event-themed product URL? All you have to do is add the Event ID into the URL, e.g. https://tickets.mytheatre.com/event/1234/products
You can find the Event ID in the URL when you click on your Event in Line-Up - it is the number that follows /event/
This will create a Products page based on the specific theme of that Event:
c) Want to have a URL for a single product? Add /products?productId= followed by the Product ID into the URL, e.g. https://tickets.mytheatre.com/products?productId=132
You can find the Product ID in the URL when you click on your Product in Line-Up - it is the number that follows /product/
This will create a page for that Product based on the generic theme of your booking flow:
d) Want to have a URL for a single product but event-themed? Add Event ID followed /products?productId= followed by the Product ID into the URL, e.g. https://tickets.mytheatre.com/event/229/products?productId=132
This will create a Products page based on the specific theme of that Event:
e) Want to upsell multiple products? Just add &productId= after the previous product ID, e.g. https://tickets.mytheatre.com/event/229/products?productId=132&productId=187
