Why isn't my customer name appearing even though they have made an order?
This could be because the Skip Customer option was selected at Box Office. To find the order, try searching for the event name or reference number instead.
To add a customer, use the Customers page and add their details there. See here for more info about about managing customers.
1. Right-click on the booked seat in Box Office:
a) Go to the Box Office page and select the event and performance that the order is for
b) On the venue plan for the performance, hover over these seats to check the name attached to the booking
c) Right-click on the seat and you'll see View Transaction appear - click this and the order will appear on a new tab for you
2. Use the Search bar at the top of the page:
a) Enter the customer name, email address or reference number attached to the order into the search bar. You can do this on any page in Line-Up.
If there are various orders that appear in the dropdown, you can click Show all results
b) On the results page, check the email address they used for the booking, which appears on the order line. You can then click into this order to see the details and make any changes
3. Use the Filter Bar on the Orders page:
a) If you're not sure of the details on an order, go to the Orders page and click the Filter bar in the top right to find the order
b) You can use the following filters to help find your order:
- Created At - choose from is after, is before or is between and select your time and date options
- Expires At - see above
- Closed At - see above
- Status - choose Complete, Reservation, In Basket, Payment Started or Expired
- Delivery Method - select from the delivery methods that you have created
c) To return to your original Order list without any filters, click Clear
