Follow these tips to help for the incoming
1. When logging in, check you are in the correct Organisation. To check, click the dropdown in the top left corner
2. Have different Line-Up tabs open on your browser so you can check things like capacities/availability quickly. We recommend having the following tabs open, in this order:
- Box Office page
- Performance page for the next performance - click Events, then the Performances tab, click into the correct performance
- Availability page on the next performance - on the performance page, scroll down and click Edit Availability
3. Go to the Box Office page early on in your shift, and do the following:
- In the top right, click the Settings button
- On the pop-up, select the Channel in which you will sell tickets, i.e. LW Box Office
- Select the correct Purchase Flow for your venue, i.e. Gillian Lynne Theatre
Once you've selected these options then it should stick each time you go to sell a ticket
4. Check capacities and availability for the next performance in their tabs (see step 2)
5. If you have made updates at any point and they are not showing immediately, refresh the page. We are working on quicker updates to the system in the long term
6. It might be worth checking if there are any orders without barcodes for the next performance, so you can prepare to print any in case they come to box office:
a) Go to the Events page, select your Event and click Manage on your Performance
b) Click View Transactions on the performance page
c) On the Transaction Items List, check the Barcode Generated At column for all orders
d) If there is no date for an order under the column, check the figure under the Total column
e) If there is a minus or 0 number, that means it is a refunded order so there is no need for a barcode
f) If there is an order that has no barcode generation date, and is not a minus or 0 number, check to see there is a date in the Voided At column. If there is, the order has been cancelled and so does not need a barcode
g) If there is an order with no barcode generation date and does not have either of the 2 above showing, then you may need to click into the order, generate the barcode and download/print the tickets to print for later when the customer arrives
7. If you think you might need total numbers for the next performance to provide to FOH, you can find this information in a report. Please contact Ticketing Services who can retrieve the report for you or get a new one set up.
