Note: Before creating tickets we recommend ensuring you have set a capacity for your event, especially if you are selling more than one ticket type.
Creating a complimentary (comp) ticket
You can create an issue comp tickets. Comp tickets won't show in the ticketing widget / event calendar plugin which is customer facing, they will only be available to be issued via your Line-Up dashboard.
To add a comp ticket go to the tickets section on the event management page - you will be taken here automatically as part of the create event page, or alternatively you can navigate to that section and add tickets at anytime.
Click the "Add Comp ticket" button
Select the occurrence/performance that the ticket should apply to
Enter the ticket name
Enter the quantity available
(if you have set a capacity, the quantity can be the same as the capacity even if you have multiple tickets as the system will manage sales of different ticket types, ensuring sales don't go over the capacity)
Your ticket has been created
Please note: your ticket won't be saved or go live until you have clicked the "Save Changes" button at the bottom.
Issuing comp tickets
To issue a complimentary ticket once they have been created. Go to the events tab and scroll down to the event. Click the issue tickets link next to the event and then enter the customer details to issue them the ticket. Tickets will be sent out to the email address entered, just like the customer facing check-out.
