When you create a paid ticket there are 3 options for managing the booking fee:
1. Passing on the booking fee
This will pass on the Line-Up booking fee to the customer so they pay it as part of the transaction.
Please note, this will only pass on the booking fee. The payment processing fee charged by Stripe will be paid by you per transaction when the funds go into your Stripe account
2. Absorbing the booking fee
The Line-Up booking fee isn't passed on and the customer just pays the face value of the ticket. You pay the Line-Up booking fee and Stripe payment processing fee out of the transaction value when receive the funds in your Stripe account
3. Setting a custom booking fee
This option allows you to set the booking fee paid by the customer as you wish. You can choose to cover both the Line-Up booking fee and Stripe payment processing fees, or generate additional revenue, by setting the booking fee as high or as low as you want. The Line-Up and Stripe fees will be taken off the transaction and any additional revenue from the booking fee will go into your Stripe account as part of the transaction.
The custom booing fee is shown separately from the Line-Up and Stripe fees in the sales report so you can easily track the fees taken.
